Central American Livebearers

The London Aquarium holds two species of Mexican Goodeid which are under threat in the wild from newly introduced species, pollution and drainage of habitat.  T.A.G members and a number of Mexican universities are captive breeding these species so they do not become extinct. Also, members are trying to educate people in affected areas about the importance of keeping these fish alive.
