CHRISTMAS CELEBRATIONS CONTINUE AT COUNTY HALL

European Christmas market and entertainment, from 13th - 22nd December 2007

Following the launch of the UK’s largest interactive projection, County Hall is soon to launch the second phase of its Christmas activity, starting with the opening of a European Christmas market on 13th December. With over 20 stalls, the European Christmas market will offer jewellery, decorations, handicrafts and toys, as well as a selection of freshly baked food.

In addition, from on 15th until 22nd December, County Hall will be putting on a range of other exciting activities – all of which are free!

On the terrace above the London Aquarium, you will find professional Dickensian carol singers performing daily at 1, 2, 3 and 4pm, handing out carol sheets for those that want to participate!

Passers-by will also be able to try their hands at drumming, with the 50 drums available in the Drum Jam Drum interactive workshop, at 1.30, 2.30, 3.30 and, 4.30pm daily.

Then down on Queens Walk, from 12 until 5pm every day, you can watch balloon modelling stilt walkers and roller-skating Christmas fairies! County Hall is located in the heart of London, offering breath-taking views of the Houses of Parliament and the Thames. Set amongst some of London’s key attractions such as the London Aquarium, the London Eye and the Dali Museum, County Hall is also host to a range of diverse restaurants and offers a 5 star Marriot Hotel and Premier Travel Inn.
