Big Teeth Diaries
In this relaxed session, we investigate the inhabitants of our main pacific tank to compare different types of sharks and how their bodies are designed for the way they live. In particular we focus on their teeth and how they help the sharks eat.

Funny fish

Using props in addition to our live specimens we uncover the way that clownfish use their bodies to survive on a coral reef. We discuss how clownfish live in anemones for protection and shelter.

Galloping seahorses!
In this session, we use live animals and props to discuss how seahorses are different from us but similar to other aquatic organisms. We also discover some incredible facts about these unique fish.

Special needs (varied ages)

Touch and feel
Explore the underwater world by touch. Using live and preserved animals we investigate different textures and movements of animals found off the coast of Britain.
