Can you hire the Aquarium for parties?
Yes, we offer evening events at the Aquarium. See Venue Hire.

Can you hire out the Aquarium in the daytime?
No, the Aquarium is open as a visitor attraction during the day. However there is plenty of other spaces in County Hall that are available to hire out.

How many people can have a dinner dance?
To find out which spaces best fit your needs go to Your Specifications and tell us your details and we can automatically generate a response for you.

Can the public dive into the tanks as part of the events?
No, we do not allow any members of the public to dive in, but can arrange for our divers to be an interactive part of the event. Please contact the events team to find out more.

Can we have live bands and DJs?

Is smoking permitted?
No, all venues are non-smoking.

Do prices include VAT?
No, VAT is additional.

Do you have seasonal pricing?
Yes, off peak rates apply in the Aquarium during July and August. Peak days in December are Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

Do you pay venue finding agencies commission?
Agency venue commission is 8% on venue hire only.
